    MaltSort Laboratory Malt Sieving Device

    The “MaltSort Laboratory Malt Sieving Device” base on the size of barley and malt to evaluate its maturity (plumpness), recommended by the EMC committee, specially developed for barley classification. Three types of fine brass strainer: 2.2mm, 2.5mm, 2.8mm.

    The “MaltSort Laboratory Malt Sieving Device” is use for classifying the malt and other corn in labs, in the beer factories, it is mainly use for evaluating the brewing barley. The working sample weight is 100g, multiple sieving can be done within a very short time and no need any dismantlement and cleaning after the sieving. The device consists of the shaking device, timer.

    Operation:
    1. Put 100g clean corn on the top strainer.
    2. Within the pre-set time, the strainer repeat to move backwards and forwards, then corn will be classified according to its size.
    3. Tilting the strainer to a 90° position, open the end sliding baffle, then pull out the handle in the other end, the corn will be poured into the collect box below and the elasticity roller will finish the strainer cleaning at the same time.
    4. The measurement data of “MaltSort Laboratory Malt Sieving Device” is reproducible, the strainer is replaceable and order the different size of sieve pore according to the requirement.
